Singapore-headquartered Nasdaq-listed Bitdeer Technologies Group has started construction on a US$36 million advanced electronics manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada, marking its first domestic factory in the United States with capacity to produce 10,000 units of AI and Bitcoin mining hardware per month.

Singapore-headquartered Bitdeer Technologies Group has broken ground on a US$36 million advanced electronics manufacturing facility in Sparks, Nevada, marking the Nasdaq-listed company's first domestic factory in the United States. The 187,000-square-foot plant is expected to produce 10,000 units of Bitdeer's SEALMINER computing hardware each month and create 70 local jobs spanning engineering, skilled technician, and support roles.
Bitdeer, which runs global headquarters in Singapore and US headquarters in San Jose, California, said the facility represents its first domestic manufacturing and assembly footprint on American soil. The Singapore-based company operates advanced computing and technology centres across the United States, Norway, Bhutan, and Ethiopia, straddling both the AI and Bitcoin mining infrastructure segments.
The factory is slated for completion by the end of 2026 and will complement Bitdeer's existing data centres and innovation hub in San Jose. Paul Hanson, Chairman of Bitdeer Industrial, said the project strengthens the company's supply chain resilience while bringing manufacturing closer to onshore customers, a strategic move as geopolitical tensions continue to reshape global semiconductor supply chains.
Bitdeer's expansion comes as AI infrastructure demand surges worldwide, with Singapore-based tech firms increasingly looking beyond the city-state to build manufacturing capacity. The company's dual focus on AI computing and cryptocurrency mining reflects a broader trend of Singapore-headquartered tech firms straddling both high-growth sectors, leveraging the city-state's status as a hub for digital asset innovation and AI development.
Why it matters for Singapore: Bitdeer's Nevada factory underscores how Singapore-headquartered tech firms are scaling globally in the AI hardware space, even as they maintain operational roots in the city-state. The move signals that Singapore's ecosystem for AI and blockchain infrastructure companies continues to produce Nasdaq-listed players capable of competing on the world stage, bringing Singapore's brand of tech entrepreneurship to US manufacturing.
