Small businesses can now claim up to $50,000 under the expanded Enterprise Development Grant for AI tools — up from $30,000 — with a simplified application process launching June 2026.

EnterpriseSG has expanded the Enterprise Development Grant (EDG) AI adoption track, raising the cap for qualifying small and medium enterprises from $30,000 to $50,000 per project. The change takes effect for applications submitted after June 1, 2026 and is part of Singapore's Budget 2026 commitment to accelerate SME digitalisation.
Eligible costs include AI software subscriptions, implementation consultancy, staff training, and workflow integration. The government co-funds up to 70% of qualifying costs for companies with fewer than 200 employees and annual revenue below $100 million.
Who should apply now: F&B, retail, logistics, and professional services SMEs are priority sectors. Applications can be submitted through the Business Grants Portal. Processing time is typically 6–8 weeks.
EnterpriseSG advisors are available at Business Centres island-wide to help with application scoping. More at enterprisesg.gov.sg.
