Korean AI diagnostics firm Neurophet has signed a supply agreement with Raffles Medical to deploy its Neurophet AQUA brain imaging analysis software across the hospital group's network in Singapore. The AI-powered platform performs ultra-fast quantitative analysis of MRI scans to detect Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, and other neurodegenerative conditions.

Korean artificial intelligence firm Neurophet has signed a supply agreement with Raffles Medical, bringing its AI-powered brain imaging analysis platform to one of Singapore's largest private healthcare networks. The deal marks Neurophet AQUA's first commercial deployment in a Singapore hospital setting, following earlier research collaborations with the city-state's public institutions.
Neurophet AQUA is a neurodegenerative brain imaging analysis software that performs quantitative analysis of patients' brain MRI scans within minutes. It measures structural changes including brain atrophy and white matter degeneration — key biomarkers for Alzheimer's disease, vascular dementia, and other age-related neurological conditions. The software generates customised analysis reports tailored to each patient's scan data, helping radiologists and neurologists make faster, more consistent assessments.
Raffles Medical operates a network of over 100 multi-disciplinary clinics across Singapore and Asia, integrated with Raffles Hospital and Raffles Specialist Centres. The group serves as a primary entry point for specialist diagnostic services in Singapore, making it a strategic deployment partner for Neurophet's regional expansion ambitions. Neurophet co-CEO Jake Junkil Been noted that the company has previously collaborated with Singapore's Dementia Research Centre at NTU, the National University of Singapore, and Singapore General Hospital, building a foundation of local clinical validation before this commercial deployment.
Why it matters for Singapore: Singapore has positioned itself as Southeast Asia's leading healthcare hub, and AI-powered diagnostic tools like Neurophet AQUA align directly with the Smart Nation initiative's push for tech-enabled healthcare. As Singapore's population ages — the proportion of residents aged 65 and above is projected to reach nearly 25% by 2030 — tools that accelerate and standardise neurodegenerative disease screening will become increasingly critical. This deployment also strengthens Singapore's role as a launchpad for specialised AI medtech solutions entering the broader Asian market, with Raffles Medical's regional network serving as a reference site for neighbouring healthcare systems.
