NCS is scaling its healthcare AI work through new agreements with IHH Healthcare and NHG Health, spanning a Joint AI Centre of Excellence, agentic AI for clinical workflows, and medical exoskeleton partnerships with Fourier Rehab and Hypershell. The push signals NCS's ambition to embed AI at every level of healthcare delivery.

NCS has announced a sweeping expansion of its healthcare AI capabilities through new partnerships with IHH Healthcare and Singapore's NHG Health, alongside medical exoskeleton collaborations with Fourier Rehab and Hypershell. The agreements were unveiled at the NCS AI Impact 2026 event, signalling the company's push to embed AI across clinical, operational, and rehabilitative care.
With IHH Healthcare — one of the world's largest healthcare networks — NCS will establish a Joint AI Centre of Excellence to co-develop and deploy AI solutions aimed at clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and cost management across IHH's facilities. Separately, NCS is developing agentic AI with NHG Health for biometric identification, digital pathology, and HR transformation, targeting complex multi-step clinical processes.
The exoskeleton partnerships place NCS at the intersection of AI and physical robotics. Fourier Rehab's wearable medical exoskeletons, already installed at Ren Ci Hospital, support patient movement during rehabilitation, while Hypershell's all-terrain exoskeletons extend mobility beyond hospital settings. NCS is also launching Sunshine.commanderAI to manage robots and AI-linked machines from different vendors under a single platform.
On the data side, NCS is working with healthcare IT provider iMedWay on digital tools for data-driven efficiency and with LinkDoc to support AI-driven clinical trials for drugs and medical devices across Asia Pacific. The company has created an AI Central unit with about 400 engineers and researchers, reflecting its thesis that standalone AI tools without organisational restructuring cap the upside.
Why it matters for Singapore: Healthcare AI is a strategic priority for Singapore's Smart Nation agenda, and NCS's comprehensive push — from hospital AI centres to rehabilitation robotics — demonstrates how homegrown tech firms are building end-to-end healthcare AI capabilities. The partnerships with major healthcare providers like IHH and NHG position Singapore as a hub for developing and exporting AI-powered healthcare solutions across Asia.
