Panthera Growth Partners, a Singapore-based growth equity firm, has poured $30 million into Innefu Labs — one of India's leading artificial intelligence companies focused on national security and defence technologies. The investment, made through Panthera's second fund, combines primary and secondary transactions, and will support Innefu's IPO preparations and international expansion. Innefu, founded in 2010, has built AI-powered intelligence platforms for government and security agencies, including India's first National Terrorism Data Fusion Centre and Southeast Asia's largest operational Intelligence Fusion Centre. "Innefu has built native, AI-powered software that solves critical challenges in national defence and enterprise security infrastructure," said Shilpa Kulkarni, founder and Managing Partner of Panthera Growth Partners, noting the firm's technology capabilities and sector experience drove the decision.

Why it matters for Singapore: The deal underscores Singapore's role as a capital hub for AI investments across Asia. Panthera Growth Partners joins a growing list of Singapore-based funds actively deploying capital into enterprise AI companies, reflecting the city-state's deepening influence in the region's AI investment landscape.
