UST, an AI and technology transformation company with significant Singapore operations, has announced a strategic alliance with Anthropic to integrate Claude across enterprise platforms and train 20,000 employees globally. The partnership aims to help Global 1000 enterprises become AI-native by embedding Claude into engineering environments and operational workflows.

Under the agreement, UST will integrate Claude into platforms serving semiconductor, automotive, manufacturing, telecom, and banking clients. The company's UST-iDEC platform for hardware validation is already integrating Claude as a reasoning layer — reading chip pinouts and hardware schematics, and writing regression test scripts that engineers previously scripted by hand. UST's banking platform FinX will use Claude to accelerate onboarding, automate document processing, and provide faster access to compliance data within built-in governance controls.

The partnership also covers healthcare and telecom platforms. UST CarePath will use Claude to streamline member services and claims workflows, while UST IntelliOps will bring Claude into network operations to identify service issues and predict infrastructure failures. UST plans to certify 20,000 associates worldwide on Claude across roles from architects and engineers to consultants and industry specialists.

Claude is also being deployed across UST's own internal operations, including contracts, legal, talent, marketing, and finance. The company says these internal deployments serve as a proving ground for the operational and change management challenges their clients will face when adopting AI at scale.

Why it matters for Singapore: This partnership reinforces Singapore's position as a hub for enterprise AI deployment. UST's APAC presence in Singapore means the training and platform development will have direct local impact, and the partnership's focus on responsible AI governance aligns with Singapore's emphasis on trusted AI adoption across regulated industries.
