Singapore-listed AcroMeta Group is taking its AI-powered trade platform ZhiMao into Mainland China through an exclusive partnership with Shenzhen-based SSZT, marking the Catalist-listed company's biggest strategic pivot yet from facility management into cross-border AI trade technology. The move comes after a trial phase that onboarded 182 customers across China and Malaysia, suggesting the platform has found genuine product-market fit before crossing the border.
Founded in 2016 and listed on SGX Catalist under ticker 43F, AcroMeta has traditionally focused on facility management services. But the company has been quietly building out an AI-driven trade intelligence arm through its subsidiary AcroMeta Lifestyle. ZhiMao — a buyer intelligence and transaction services platform — uses AI agents to scan customs data, social intent signals, and government tenders, connecting Chinese manufacturers with overseas buyers while also helping international companies identify suppliers and partners in China. A companion platform, ProcureRadar AI, adds procurement intelligence on top.
Under the agreement, SSZT will establish and operate a dedicated entity in Shenzhen with exclusive rights to run both platforms across Mainland China. SSZT brings deep local expertise in new energy, advanced manufacturing, and cross-border trade — sectors where AI-powered procurement tools are seeing the fastest adoption among supply chain managers. AcroMeta has also partnered with the Singapore Institute of Materials Management to integrate its AI tools into regional supply chain training programmes, creating a pipeline of trained users ahead of a full commercial rollout.
Why it matters for Singapore: AcroMeta's China expansion reveals a less visible but growing slice of Singapore's AI economy — homegrown companies building vertical AI products for global B2B markets, rather than the consumer-facing AI stories that dominate headlines. The fact that a Catalist-listed facility management firm can pivot into AI trade intelligence and secure a China beachhead speaks to the depth of AI talent and entrepreneurial ambition running through Singapore's smaller listed companies. It also reinforces Singapore's role as a launchpad for AI-powered trade solutions targeting the Asia-Pacific supply chain.
