Singapore-based GoVeda has secured seed funding to accelerate development of its AI-native intellectual property platform, designed to transform how businesses manage, file, and monetise their patents using artificial intelligence.

The platform brings AI to every stage of the IP lifecycle — from patent discovery and strategic filing analysis to portfolio intelligence and monetisation. By connecting patent offices, enterprises, and innovators in a unified system, GoVeda aims to make intellectual property accessible to departments beyond legal, including R&D, product, sales, and finance teams.

Founded in 2026 and led by CEO Dr Tai Cheng, GoVeda serves a growing market of companies looking to extract more value from their patent portfolios. The seed funding will support continued development of advanced AI capabilities for patent search, competitive landscaping, and automated filing recommendations. The round's investors were not disclosed.

Singapore has been positioning itself as a regional IP hub, with the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) rolling out streamlined patent filing processes and AI-powered search tools for examiners.
