Singapore-based Level Up Sportslytics is bringing professional-grade AI cricket analytics to grassroots players through its Level Up Cricket platform, which uses four high-speed cameras and proprietary computer vision to deliver instant bowling speeds, biomechanics analysis, pitch maps, and injury risk indicators directly to players' smartphones. Incorporated in Singapore in 2021, the startup has secured a patent for its hardware-software integration and already operates at the Singapore Cricket Club (The Padang) and The Cage in Kallang.

Founder Sitanshu Dash—a cricket enthusiast with 15 years of enterprise marketing and data analytics experience at Adobe and Standard Chartered—built the platform after realising existing tools couldn't capture the full picture. "Without data, my game had reached a ceiling," Dash said. "I wanted one app that could record every delivery, tell me how fast I was bowling, generate a pitch map, produce wagon wheels and highlight flaws in my technique. It simply didn't exist." He taught himself computer vision to build Level Up Cricket. The company now employs 11 people and is backed by six investors.

The platform's signature "Gameface" feature transforms net practice into realistic match simulations by recreating field placements and identifying dismissal patterns. Coaches at Singapore Cricket Club Academy have integrated the system into their training programmes. "The quality of the video and biomechanics has been a huge help from day one," said Tim McMahon, Head Coach of the Academy. Promotional net sessions currently cost S$10 per hour, making the technology accessible to recreational players—a deliberate pricing strategy to democratise what was previously reserved for elite international teams.

Level Up Sportslytics is already expanding internationally: a new facility opened in Virginia, United States in June 2026, with a United Kingdom market entry scheduled for July. The company is also targeting India and Southeast Asia with active seed funding. Its offshore development centre is based in India, while its HQ and core R&D remain in Singapore—a familiar model for deep-tech Singapore startups building for global markets from a local base.

Why it matters for Singapore: Level Up Sportslytics is a textbook example of Singapore's AI startup ecosystem maturing beyond enterprise SaaS into niche domain-specific applications. By combining computer vision, edge hardware, and a grassroots pricing model, the company is solving a real problem in sports development—and exporting that solution globally. For a small nation where cricket has growing grassroots participation, having homegrown AI analytics that can accelerate player development is a win for both the tech and sports communities.
