A Singapore-headquartered healthtech company is putting government-backed cloud compute to work on one of medicine's quietest problems: clinical data overload. Mobile-health Network Solutions (MNDR), which operates a digital health ecosystem across Southeast Asia and the US, has developed an AI-powered lab data analysis tool built under Singapore's AI Cloud Takeoff (AI CTO) programme — part of the national Enterprise Compute Initiative administered by Digital Industry Singapore (DISG).

The solution, built through MNDR's Skylink Innovations subsidiary on Google Cloud AI infrastructure, helps clinicians interpret a patient's complete laboratory history across time. It automatically generates an executive summary of key abnormalities, detects trends across longitudinal results, draws AI-assisted correlations between lab findings and potential diagnoses, integrates evidence-based references from medical literature, and produces a summarised list of potential diagnoses for clinician review. The pitch is not replacement but support: a decision-support layer that cuts the manual slog of reviewing years of blood work while keeping doctors firmly in control.

The AI CTO programme angle matters. Singapore's Enterprise Compute Initiative was designed to give local companies affordable access to enterprise-grade AI compute and cloud credits, and MNDR's completion of the project under it shows the scheme working as intended — a homegrown firm using national compute support to ship a clinically relevant product rather than a demo. Google Cloud's involvement also underscores how the city-state's AI ecosystem runs on a mix of public funding and global platform partnerships.

For healthcare, the tool targets a real pain point: patients accumulate years of lab results across multiple encounters, and manual review of that history is inefficient enough that clinically meaningful patterns get missed. Automating the trend-spotting and flagging stage, as MNDR is doing, is where AI in clinical settings is showing the most credible near-term value — not in replacing diagnosis, but in making the diagnostic process faster and more complete.

Why it matters for Singapore: MNDR's announcement is a small but telling data point for Singapore's healthtech ambitions. It shows a Singapore company using the national AI compute programme to build clinical software that can scale beyond the domestic market — MNDR already operates regionally and is Nasdaq-listed. If more local firms follow this playbook of pairing government compute support with vertical AI products, Singapore's Enterprise Compute Initiative will have produced not just cheaper training runs, but a pipeline of deployable, market-ready AI tools in regulated industries like healthcare.
