Singapore-based AI recruiting platform Moka AI has launched Moka Eva across Asia Pacific, an AI recruiting agent designed to make hiring decisions more consistent and precise as organisations scale their talent acquisition. The launch taps into surging demand for AI-driven hiring, with 82% of Singapore companies already using AI in recruitment, onboarding or training according to ManpowerGroup research.

The launch arrives as Singapore-based enterprises accelerate their AI adoption across HR and talent management functions. From sourcing candidates to conducting initial screenings, AI agents are increasingly handling repetitive hiring tasks at scale, freeing recruiters to focus on strategic decisions around culture fit and long-term workforce planning.

Moka Eva covers the full hiring cycle — sourcing, screening, interviews and candidate communications — acting as a proactive AI teammate that refines its judgment based on each company's historical hiring decisions. The system has screened over five million resumes and assisted in more than 600,000 interviews, producing results consistent with human reviewers 92 per cent of the time. At a major international coffee chain with more than 20,000 locations, Moka Eva cut per-store time-to-hire by 75 per cent and lifted offer-to-onboarding conversion from 14.2 per cent to 35.8 per cent. The platform also features AI Interview for automated first-round screening in 10 languages and Interview Coach, which generates tailored questions from a company's past interview patterns.

For Singapore's competitive hiring market, tools like Moka Eva could significantly reduce screening bottlenecks, particularly for high-volume roles across retail, F&B and logistics. The same automation that accelerates hiring also raises important questions about algorithmic bias and candidate experience that enterprises adopting AI-driven recruitment will need to navigate carefully.

Why it matters for Singapore: Singapore's position as a regional talent and business hub makes it the natural launchpad for AI-powered recruiting platforms like Moka Eva. With 82 per cent of local firms already using AI in some part of the hiring process, the infrastructure and appetite for specialised AI agents are already in place — positioning Singapore as a testbed for how AI can reshape talent acquisition across Asia Pacific.
