Wonderful Opens Singapore Hub to Bring Enterprise-Grade Agentic AI to Asia Pacific

Amsterdam-based enterprise AI startup Wonderful has opened a Singapore office, appointed a former Google and Meta executive as general manager, and begun hiring local technical talent as it pushes deeper into the Asia Pacific market with its model-agnostic agentic AI orchestration platform.
Wonderful, the Amsterdam-based enterprise AI startup valued at US billion after its latest funding round, has opened a physical office in Singapore and appointed a seasoned APAC technology leader to lead its regional push. The move signals a growing conviction among European AI companies that Singapore is the critical gateway for enterprise AI adoption in Southeast Asia.
Founded with a mission to help large organisations deploy agentic AI at scale, Wonderful has raised approximately US84 million to date, including a US50 million Series B led by Insight Partners in March 2026. Rather than building its own foundation models, the company operates a model-agnostic orchestration layer — what it calls an "agentic operating system" — that sits on top of third-party frontier models like Anthropic's Claude and connects them into enterprise workflows across financial services, government, telecommunications, and retail.
The new Singapore operation will be led by Alexander Kleinberg, who joins as General Manager for Singapore after senior roles at Google, Meta, and Twitter across the Asia Pacific region. Notably, Kleinberg previously served on the board of GovTech Singapore, giving him direct insight into the city-state's digital government ambitions. Wonderful says it expects to have "dozens" of clients in Singapore within months and is prioritising the hiring of Singapore citizens and permanent residents for technical roles on the ground.

Each new platform that sets up dedicated engineering and client-facing teams here deepens the ecosystem and creates high-value technical jobs that compound the city-state's AI capabilities over time.
